Spark is looking for scrappy and passionate individuals who believe that anyone of any background has the potential to create something great — whether they're an artist, entrepreneur, or something completely new.
This semester, we will be running 6 incredible committees aimed at democratizing entrepreneurial opportunities across USC and the local LA community:
Break to Make: Break to Make is a two day, all women’s hardware make-a-thon. Women (trans and non-binary friends included) from any major within USC come to learn how to turn an idea into a product in just two days.
SeeSaw: SeeSaw aims to empower local businesses around USC by providing a platform for them to share their stories through painted murals.
Founders: Founders is an initiative that connects notable founders, creators, and makers with highly motivated USC students interested in entrepreneurship through panel discussions and interviews.
Startup Career Fair: Startup Career Fair is bringing innovative startups to USC’s campus, offering ambitious students the chance to network, explore career opportunities, and create new ones.
VC Academy: Continuing from last semester, VC Academy aims to teach students the ins and outs of early stage investing for angel groups and venture capital partnering alongside industry professionals.
Activist Incubator: Activist Incubator is a 6-week curriculum that helps students build a strong foundation in activism and advocacy.
